What is LeoStream Connection Broker?

Leostream provides critical connection broker technology for delivering hosted desktops, virtual desktops, applications, and other hosted resources to end-users, simply and securely.

The Leostream Connection Broker is a vendor-independent virtual appliance that runs on virtualization hosts such as those offered by VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft. It manages the connection of end-users to their desktops and applications without sitting in the data path. IT administrators use the Leostream Connection Broker to establish access control rules that connect end-users to the right resources at the right time, regardless of their location.

The Connection Broker connects end-users directly to physical and virtualized desktops, Terminal Server sessions, and applications according to the user’s profile and the location of the client device. The Leostream Connection Broker integrates with an organization’s directory services, such as Microsoft® Active Directory® and Novell® eDirectory™, to authenticate users and map them to one of the access control rules.
